Topic this week: The Britons Civ.
" I think we get this idea that the Britons are the bad guys of AOK. In the campaigns William Wallace and Joan of Arc fight the Britons. The Longbowman is and ok UU, a foot archer with a long range. The civ bonuses aren't that good, in my opinion. I mean, who cares if a shepherd works a little faster? If you're a Town Center fanatic, the upgrade is not too shabby. Archer upgrade, ok. The Britons get good infantry, but no bombard towers, cannons, or galleons. Basically an imperialist civ. Fun from a historical standpoint, but not good for multiplayers."

" Not my favorite civ to play, but I build a ton of Longbowmen and upgrade them to elite. They do need some support. Champions are good, and some knights for charging makes a useful unit. Robin Hood was a longbowman. I believe he was a real person. I wish the Britons got gunpowder units, but unfortunately they don't. I use the Britons a lot in scenario design."
